ABOUT US

The American Wing Chun Federation is a privately owned organization which operates independently, but also has affiliations with the Wing Chun Kung Fu Association under Sifu John Boscola and the North American Wing Chun Association under Grandmaster Philip Holder, Ph.D. The American Wing Chun Federation exists for the exchange of knowledge for its students and members. The current situation of the global community of Wing Chun Kung Fu, or any other martial art, is that many family lineages claim exclusive originality and diminish the authenticity of other lineages and the depreciate value of other systems of self defense. A simple fact of life is that every thing and every person has something of value to contribute in one way or another. The American Wing Chun Federation embraces this concept in that it provides a foundation for any Wing Chun family to share credentials and strengthen the communication and relation of all Wing Chun practitioners.

MISSION
To provide its students with an effective and easy to learn system of self-defense. To offer a way of life leading to personal refinement. To ensure the future of a legendary art.

LOCATION
The main school of the American Wing Chun Federation is located in Orlando, but will be moving to a new location in Winter Park, FL very soon.

FACILITIES
Both group and private instruction are offered in an auxiliary building with over 1000 sq. ft. of space. Restrooms and water fountains are located just outside of the classroom. Snack and beverage machines are located in a comfort lounge near the restrooms.

Chief Instructor

SiFu Jon Diament is the founder of the American Wing Chun Federation. He began his Martial Arts training at the age of 14. He has studied extensively in the arts of Wing Chun Kung Fu, Chin Na, Tien Tao Chi Kung, Zhan Zhuang Chi Kung, and Taoist philosophy. He also has experience in Tai Chi, Judo, Yoga, Aikido, Boxing, Kickboxing, and Ground Fighting. Currently, he is the senior instructor directly under SiGung John Boscola of the Wing Chun Kung Fu Association, the most senior instructor under Grandmaster Philip Holder, Ph.D. of the North American Wing Chun Association. Originally from New Jersey, Sifu Jon Diament holds a B.A. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Spanish, from Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. His professional background includes experience with major corporations such as IBM and AOL. He is formerly the Director of Admissions for the Florida College of Integrative Medicine where he has also taught courses in Marketing, Kung Fu, and Qigong.
