More Than a Kids' Martial Arts Class
The NVTO Youth Development Program provides students with a structured path of growth through authentic Wing Chun training. Students progress through a sash ranking system while developing the skills, discipline, and character needed for long-term success both inside and outside of the school.
Our comprehensive youth curriculum gives a solid grounding in the basics of Wing Chun and then seamlessly integrates into the adults' class as they mature.
Character
Respect
Students will learn respect for others as well as for themselves. Respect is earned, and to make friends, you have to be friendly.
Confidence
Confidence comes from within. Students will build confidence by setting goals, and achieving them, as well as being challenged in class and overcoming training-obstacles.
Focus
Wing Chun specifically trains mindfulness. Mindfulness is what gives a student a heightened ability to focus on the task at hand under pressure.
